ABOUT SWIRL VINTAGE
The Swirl Vintage women’s fashion brand is the vision of two creative and entrepreneurial friends, Shawn Underwood and Jill Price-Crawley. Each brings a remarkable point of view to our product, and a spirit of joy and artistry that makes Swirl Vintage clothing irresistible to own. Shawn and Jill are inspired by soft natural fabrics and easy to wear jackets, blouses and dresses you’d find in the 1940s, that never went out of style.
Our clothing line is distinctively designed and crafted with care in Seattle. Our sewing contractor supports local women sewers who are able to work from home while creating our clothing line. The detail is special, with embellishments, trim detailing and a charming curated collection that makes these limited-edition garments almost impossible to keep in stock. Look closely. You will instantly find details make your Swirl Vintage garment stand apart in a world of mass-produced garments. And since Jill and Shawn introduced the notion of using buttons you’d find in grandma’s button tin, old keepsake attic discoveries from the past and treasures collected over the years have been sent to them from everywhere. Swirl Vintage’s growing community of followers contribute vintage buttons, lace and trim for use in this labor of love.

At Swirl Vintage we set aside part of the proceeds from each sale to support Old Dog Haven, a small nonprofit group using a large network of foster homes to provide a loving safe home for abandoned senior dogs in western Washington. When we have room and the means, we take these dogs into our homes. We adopt out those dogs with a reasonable life-expectancy. We care for the rest as members of the family in permanent foster homes (what we call “Final Refuge”) for as long as they have good quality of life. In addition, we try to assist owners in finding new homes for their senior dogs through our website and referrals.
