This is a very light weight quilt jacket because it does not have the 'batting' in the quilt. The pattern is a diamonds in diamonds patchwork. The lining is a cream colored 'ditsy' print with rose colored flowers. We also added a sweet little lace bit on the inside upper back. This coat will have a hood, shirt tail hem and side  seam pockets.

History of the quilt: Yet another quilt purchased from a friend who received this as a gift from her elderly neighbor.

**All of our quilted items have been hand washed and line dried however they are O L D quilts and you can expect minor stains (even I can't get all the stains out!) and minimal holes. We try and work around the holes when laying out the pattern pieces..
